HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?

With proper care and maintenance, your newly refinished surface should last 8-12 years.

Proper care excludes harsh abrasives, scouring pads or contact with harsh chemicals such as drain cleaners and those that contain acid or bleach ingredients.

A soft rag and blue Dawn dish soap is the recommended cleaning suggestion.

Your surface will be ready for light use after 24 hours, however, the material will continue to cure throughout for the next 30 days.

​While your new coating is durable, please keep in mind it is a coated surface. Dropping heavy/clunky/hard items onto the finish, scraping of any kind, or chemical contact may damage the finish and is not covered under the warranty.

5 year limited warranty on owner occupied units

2 year limited warranty on rental units

No warranty on sinks, floors or countertops

 

WHAT IS THE PROCESS?

- Prepping your surface to be sprayed is of upmost importance so we take extra measures to clean and prepare your surface for ultimate adhesion.

- During the prep process, we will remove the caulk around the perimeter, chemically clean the entire surface area including grout lines (if applicable), repair any damaged areas and properly mask off areas to minimize dust or overspray.

- The spraying portion is the most exciting and quickest part of the job, and unfortunately, the smelliest. We recommend young/elder persons not be in the home while spraying is occurring. Odors usually dissipates within 5- 10 hours, but those with sensitive noses may need longer. Diamond Glaze WNC now offers a cherry scent additive at an additional cost to eliminate unwanted odors

- Upon completion of spraying, the surface is generally too wet to reapply caulking/silicone or reinstall hardware. Customers bear the resposibility of caulking and attaching any hardware that had been removed prior to refinishing

*Please note: Dust and lint is inevitable and WILL land in the paint as it is drying. While we reduce as much dust as possible with ventilation and proper protective equipment, we can not guarantee a dust-free finish.
